3. Your Investment Data

Your investment data is stored to provide the Service and is not guaranteed to be accurate or secure. You are responsible for what you input and for backing up your own data if needed.

Workspace Sharing

If you invite members to your workspace, those members will have read access to all investment data, investor updates, and portfolio metrics within that workspace. You are responsible for managing who has access.

API Keys & Third-Party Tool Access

You may generate API keys that grant third-party tools (such as AI assistants) read access to your portfolio data. You are responsible for keeping API keys confidential and for revoking any key you believe may have been compromised. Pinion is not liable for data accessed by tools you have authorized.

AI Processing of Investor Updates

When you submit investor updates for AI analysis, the text and any attached PDF content is transmitted to Anthropic, PBC (the provider of the Claude AI model) for processing. This content may include company names, financial figures, and founder communications. By using this feature, you consent to that transmission. We do not use this content to train AI models; it is processed solely to generate the structured summary returned to you.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as necessary to operate the Service, including with the following service providers:

• Supabase — database hosting and authentication
• Netlify — hosting and serverless functions
• Anthropic — AI processing of investor updates (see §3 above)
• Unkey — API key issuance and verification
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• Resend — transactional email delivery (invitations, notifications)
• Umami — privacy-friendly, cookieless usage analytics
• Crisp — customer support chat

We may also share data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards, but no system is 100% secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

6. Data Retention

We retain data as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. We may delete data at our discretion.

7. Your Rights
